Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrician Helper to join our dynamic electrical team. In this role, you will assist licensed electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various construction sites and commercial projects. Responsibilities
- Assist licensed electricians with installing and wiring electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
- Prepare work areas by organizing tools, materials, and equipment needed for electrical tasks.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to support installation activities.
- Bending conduit, pulling electrical wire, and connecting electrical components according to specifications.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete electrical tasks.
- Follow all safety procedures, including NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association code) compliance, to ensure a safe working environment.
- Support the installation of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems while adhering to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
Requirements
- Prior experience working as an electrician helper or in a construction environment with exposure to electrical systems preferred.
- Knowledge of conduit bending, electrical wiring, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation preferred.
- Familiarity with electrical safety procedures, NFPA 70 compliance, and NEC standards.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment safely.
- Strong understanding of industrial and commercial electrical systems installation and troubleshooting.
- Construction site experience with a focus on safety protocol adherence is preferred.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to read blueprints and interpret schematics accurately.
- Some Travel will be required.
