POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Facility Director, this individual is responsible for facilitating the placement of orders, expediting back orders and facilitating the procurement of the agency’s equipment and supplies. This individual is also responsible for processing the paperwork for stock and non-stock supplies and dispensing the supplies through a computerized requisition system.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Prepare purchase orders utilizing a computerized system and code for appropriate department and ensure the signature of appropriate individuals.
2. Research products; clarify specifications and documents for competitive pricing.
3. Prepare requisitions in a timely manner.
4. Follows up on back orders.
5. Maintains up-to-date product information files including pricing to ensure immediate and accurate access to information.
6. Verifies medication orders with appropriate department prior to placement of order.
7. Performs inventory counts all stocked supplies
8. Monthly reports performed for Fiscal Dept.
9. Maintains shipping and receiving of supplies ordered.
10. Implements and maintains order supply
11. Performs internal orders for departments for requested supplies
12. Perform quarterly expiration checks on stocked supplies
13. As needed, may perform duties assigned by the Facilities Director including but not limited transports, medical runs and maintenance duties.
14. At the time of hire, each employee will meet with their supervisor to set measurable goals and objectives that are a requirement for the position. These measurables will be monitored by the supervisor and reviewed during the introductory period. They will also be utilized in the annual performance evaluation. The measurables may change from year to year. The supervisor is responsible to notify the employee of any new measurables at the time of the performance review.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILTIIES:
1. Works on additional projects and committees as assigned by supervisor.
2. Attend all trainings, meetings and workshops as required.
3. Assist with a variety of duties in order to meet the needs of the department on an as needed basis.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
1. Two (2) years experience as a purchasing agency and/or any combination of experience, education or training that would provide the level of knowledge, skill and ability required.
2. Knowledge of basic typing skills with emphasis on accuracy, minmum of 45 wpm preferred.
3. Possession of a valid California driver’s license and current car insurance sufficient to be insurable.
4. High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Feather River Tribal Health, Inc. is a drug and alcohol-free workplace. Hourly Rate: $27.04- $28.13, depending on experience
