Job Description:
Yuba College is actively searching for a diverse pool of highly qualified candidates to fill part-time faculty (Adjunct) teaching positions. These opportunities are available on an ongoing basis to meet the evolving needs of the college. Prospective applicants can expect to be contacted and hired throughout the year in response to the institution's specific instructional requirements. The adjunct pools remain open year-round and are routinely refreshed every two years to ensure an updated and dynamic group of potential educators.
BASIC FUNCTION:
Develop and deliver instructional lectures and laboratories for EMT courses up to 10 hours/week;
Use appropriate teaching methods to facilitate student learning;
Teach day, evening, and/or weekend teaching assignments, which may include distance learning (interactive television, online) and accelerated courses;
Assess Student Learning Outcomes every semester;
Participate in department, division, and college-wide initiatives and committees if desired.
Provide timely feedback to students and post grades regularly
Respond to student communication in a timely manner
Essential Duties Summary:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
The successful candidate must possess the minimum qualifications stated below:
Any Bachelor's or higher AND two years of experience in emergency medical technology and any certificates or license required to do that work
OR any Associate's degree AND any six years of experience in emergency medical technology AND any certificate or license required to do that work
OR the equivalent.

Benefits Information:
