Housekeeping Attendant

Company Overview:

Alhonna Resort is a 60 -unit property located at Lake of the Ozarks. Family owned and operated, this vacation destination offers the unique experience of being part of one of the largest, longest running resorts at the lake. This site offers amenities such as 3 pools, enclosed fishing dock, a sandy beach area and so much more. We are also home to the Blue Cat Lounge and Restaurant as well as Buddy’s Marina where we offer gas and boat rentals. Our location is close and convenient to many of the attractions that make Lake of the Ozarks a fun place to visit.

Job Overview

Reporting directly to the Housekeeping Supervisor, housekeeping attendants are responsible for cleaning resort units after the guest departs as well daily cleaning of all public facility bathrooms.

Primary Responsibilities

· Cleaning resort units after guest departure. Duties include but are not limited to making beds, cleaning bathrooms, cleaning kitchens, mopping/vacuuming floors, washing windows, dusting, inventory unit’s kitchen equipment & supplies.

· Clean public bathrooms daily.

· Run a commercial washer & dryer to clean resort linens, fold & store linens.

· Document areas cleaned and communicate with the Housekeeping Supervisor any maintenance or other issues in the units.

· Operate all housekeeping equipment in a proper and a safe manner.

Additional Responsibilities

· Maintain generally approved cleaning practices and sanitation standards.

· Perform daily housekeeping cleaning duties as needed.

· Ability to operate electric golf cart, safely

· Assist with loading and unloading clean and dirty sheets.

Skills & Qualifications

· Knowledge of standard cleaning & sanitation practices helpful

· Ability to work on a team or individually.

· Attention to detail.

· Basic knowledge of industrial and household washer and dryers is helpful, but not required.

Physical Demands

· Ability to work 8 hours, including weekends and holidays as required.

· Ability to communicate and interact verbally.

· Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time

· Repetitive motion. Substantial movements(motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers

· Ability to lift, push, and carry up to 40 pounds at any time
