Full Job Description

Your future role at a glance:

Location: Oshkosh, WI

Facility: Mercy Hospital

Department: Central Monitoring Unit

Schedule: PRN, Flexible scheduling

How you'll make an impact in this role:

Monitor and evaluate real-time cardiac rhythms on telemetric devices to identify patterns, ensuring immediate awareness of any subtle changes in patient heart activity.
Identify and document irregular rhythms or sudden changes in heartbeats, providing the precise data tracking needed for accurate clinical decision-making.
Communicate critical changes immediately to the nursing and attending physician teams, serving as a vital early warning link for rapid patient intervention.
Manage and maintain telemetry monitoring equipment and inventory, ensuring all lifesaving monitoring tools are fully operational and ready for patient use.

What minimum qualifications you'll need:

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
