Job Description

Drives bus on assigned routes in a legal and safe manner.

Instructs students and teachers in emergency bus evacuation procedures twice a year.

Instructs students in proper bus conduct.
-
Reports misconduct on the bus through established district procedures.
-
Fuels bus as needed.
-
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure bus is in safe operating condition.
-
Cleans bus interior and exterior as needed.
-
Completes daily log forms and other paperwork as required.
-
Other duties as assigned by the Transportation Department supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications

Valid Washington State School Bus Drivers Endorsement and current Washington State driver’s license.

DOT Physical

Ability to work well with others and promote a positive attitude
