Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Sous Chef/Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, consistency, and attention to detail, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards.
Assist in supervising kitchen staff, providing guidance on food preparation, presentation, and safety procedures.
Manage food production processes, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices.
Uphold strict food safety and sanitizing procedures to ensure a clean and safe working environment for all team members.
Support menu planning efforts by contributing creative ideas and ensuring timely execution of dishes during service.
Oversee shift management duties such as coordinating team schedules, monitoring food service operations, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with the dietary department when preparing specialized meals or accommodating dietary restrictions for guests.
Assist with catering events and banquet services, ensuring seamless execution from setup to cleanup.
Lead by example in hospitality, serving guests with professionalism and enthusiasm while fostering a positive team atmosphere.
Implement inventory management strategies to control costs and optimize kitchen resources efficiently.

Qualifications

Proven experience in fine dining establishments or similar high-end food service environments.
Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience within a culinary setting.
Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management practices.
Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitizing procedures, and proper food handling techniques.
Experience with banquet service, catering, or large-scale event coordination is highly desirable.
Familiarity with inventory control, cost management, and food production processes.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
Strong communication skills combined with a passion for hospitality and culinary excellence.
