Within the hospital’s integrated Quality Assurance and Risk Management program, the Nurse Director Quality Control will lead a best-practice blend of quality control and risk management functions designed to elevate safety, reliability, and continuous improvement across every care setting; this unit serves a 217-bed regional referral center providing comprehensive care to southeast Iowa and Northern Missouri for over 125 years, and key selling points include 24/7 emergency services, a wide range of specialties like cardiology, orthopedics, and surgical services, along with over $4M in recent capital upgrades.

As the Nursing Director Quality and Risk Management, the leader will guide a full spectrum of activities—enterprise quality strategy, accreditation and survey readiness, regulatory compliance, performance improvement, patient safety, Just Culture, event review, RCA and FMEA, infection prevention collaboration, antimicrobial stewardship alignment, and outcomes analytics—while the RN Director Quality Assurance leverages real-time dashboards, registries, and streamlined EHR workflows to drive reliable results.
