We are seeking two experienced Tax Professionals to join our team in part-time roles, with the opportunity to transition to full-time hours during the peak tax season. You will work face-to-face with clients to deliver accurate, high-quality tax preparation services. This position is ideal for a credentialed professional looking for year-round flexibility with seasonal growth potential.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct face-to-face tax interviews with individual and small business clients.
Prepare and review complex federal and state income tax returns.
Provide actionable tax planning advice based on current tax laws.
Resolve client tax queries and address IRS or state correspondence.
Maintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive financial client data.
Work with other tax preparers in the office to educate and promote a learning environment

Position Details & Benefits

Schedule: Flexible work days with Part-time hours and Full-time availability during tax season.
Format: On-site position requiring direct, in-person client interaction.
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience. If currently employed as a Tax Preparer, we’ll increase your hourly rate by 10%
Environment: You will be working in one of the most beautiful office building complexes in south Overland Park. Our tax software is EASY to learn and offers both interview and forms mode. You’ll love it compared to other tax software.

Job Requirements

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of active tax preparation experience.
Credentials: Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or Enrolled Agent (EA) status required.
Preferred Background: Experience working within major national tax preparation franchises or networks is highly valued.
Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal communication and a client-focused attitude, detail oriented, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
