Full Job Description

Title: Quality Systems Specialist

Schedule: First Shift

Department: Quality Assurance

Reports To: Director of Quality

Pay Range: $18-24 per hour

Position Summary: MedPro Pharma, LLC is seeking a Quality Systems Specialist to support the development of our Quality Management System (QMS) during the startup of a new pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. This is a unique opportunity to join the organization during its formative stages, where you will work directly with Quality leadership to help establish the systems, procedures, and documentation that will guide the company for years to come. Unlike joining a mature organization, this role provides the opportunity to influence processes, recommend best practices, and help shape the quality culture from the ground up.

The primary responsibility of this position is the development, revision, and organization of GMP documentation including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), forms, logbooks, batch records, protocols, reports, and related quality system documents.

Responsibilities

Author, revise, and maintain SOPs, forms, work instructions, batch records, logbooks, protocols, reports, and other controlled GMP documentation.
Collaborate with Quality, Operations, Engineering, and Pharmacy personnel to develop compliant procedures that support manufacturing operations.
Assist in establishing and organizing the Quality Management System for a startup pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
Convert technical processes into clear, practical, operator-friendly procedures.
Participate in document reviews, revisions, approvals, and change control activities.
Ensure documentation complies with applicable cGMP regulations, FDA guidance, USP standards, and internal procedures.
Assist with development of manufacturing documentation, validation documentation, and quality system records.
Support internal audits, regulatory inspections, and quality improvement initiatives.
Maintain document control records and assist with document issuance and revision management.
Perform other duties as assigned in support of the growing Quality organization.

Qualifications

Required

Excellent technical writing and document organization skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and document formatting.
Ability to organize large amounts of technical information into clear, logical procedures.

Preferred

Experience working in an FDA-regulated pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or compounding environment.
Experience authoring GMP documentation, including SOPs, batch records, forms, protocols, and reports.
Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
Experience supporting aseptic processing, sterile manufacturing, or sterile compounding operations strongly preferred.
Previous experience with pharmaceutical startup operations is a plus.
Familiarity with FDA regulations, USP chapters (including USP <797>, <800>, and applicable sterile manufacturing guidance), and quality systems is preferred.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
