Full Job Description

Brockman Site Development is looking for a skilled Accounting Clerk to perform a variety of clerical, accounting, and financial support tasks. Hours are Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm. These hours are mandatory due to the importance of this position.

Responsibilities include entering financial records, processing invoices, printing reports, maintaining records, and assisting with basic office tasks. This position will use Spectrum Viewpoint to process transactions, receipts, and other accounting-related entries. Additional clerical duties may include answering phones, directing calls, and supporting the office as needed.

The ideal candidate is accurate, organized, dependable, and comfortable with data entry, numbers, and basic accounting procedures. Experience with Spectrum Viewpoint, Viewpoint Vista, Sage, QuickBooks, or other accounting / ERP software is preferred.

Basic Responsibilities

Provide accounting and clerical support to the company
Accurately enter financial data into Viewpoint
Process invoices, receipts, and related accounting records
Prepare, maintain, and organize documents and records
Track, identify, and correct accounting or clerical discrepancies
Answer and direct phone calls as needed
Create reports and summaries in Excel
Assist with other administrative and accounting tasks as assigned

Skills / Requirements

Clerical or accounting experience
Knowledge of bookkeeping and basic accounting procedures
Experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Ability to work with spreadsheets, reports, and financial records
Basic computer skills, including navigating files and folders
Strong accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to perform basic recordkeeping tasks
Data entry and word processing skills
Well organized and dependable
QuickBooks, Spectrum Viewpoint, Viewpoint Vista, Sage, or related software experience is a plus
Ability to work Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM
