Full Job Description

The Position

Reports to: PE Sponsor

Supervises: The focus of the job initially will be the management of sales and manufacturing operations, especially business development and key account relationship management. The General Manager will supervise Regional Sales, CSR Logistics, Fabrication, Fractional CFO and Operations – Tulsa.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage the income statement including revenue, gross profit and EBITDA.
Review and approve fabrication quotes on contribution margins and support business development and customer relations management on key accounts.
Lead the sales planning and business development functions and work with sales management in evaluating and improving the sales model and marketing strategies and in the development and implementation of business development plans.
Oversee shop floor operations including production scheduling, labor efficiency, quality, safety, on-time delivery and regulatory compliance.
Develop relationships with customers and prospects with focus on enhancing and expanding account relationships.
Work with the operations team in improving production processes and implementing lean manufacturing initiatives.
Direct inventory management including the development and implementation of processes to improve efficiencies, inventory turns, and production lead times.
Plan and direct product development initiatives and associated product roll-outs.
Oversee the hiring, development, mentoring and retention of company talent and participate actively in the recruitment and selection of key personnel.
Plan and participate actively in communicating company information to employees.
Ensure the preparation of timely and accurate financial statements, financial forecasts and budgets, and pricing structures and models.

Candidate Qualifications

Education – Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing or a related discipline.

Experience – At least 7 to 10 years of related experience, including 3 to 5 years in the management functions of a manufacturing or fabrication company.

Previous experience in management with a manufacturing organization or operating unit of over 50 employees and revenues in excess of $50 million annually – highly desirable.
Prefer previous P&L responsibility with a track record of success in increasing sales and profitability.
Prefer related experience in the refractory industry with anchoring systems, refractory installation, or refractory materials manufacturing.

Pay: Up to $200,000.00 per year
