Duties

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the organization

- Prepare and process payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness

- Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies

- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures

- Generate financial reports and assist with financial analysis as needed

- Utilize accounting software to input and track financial data

-Take inventory of office supplies and order as needed

-Answer phone calls related to the business in general

-Maintain a high level of confidentiality

- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records

-Assist with the hiring process and paperwork

Qualifications

- Strong understanding of financial concepts and principles

- Proven experience in bookkeeping or a related role

- Knowledge of payroll processes and regulations

- Familiarity with bank reconciliation procedures

- Proficiency in using accounting software

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry

- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
