Why Join Southern Application Management?
Southern Application Management, founded in 2011, is a proud dealer of Apache self-propelled sprayer-rugged, reliable, and built for the future of farming. Since joining the EXEL Industries family in 2016, we’ve continued to grow while keeping our local, team-focused culture.

- Provide customer support, training, and product demonstrations alongside sales staff.
- Learn and support precision ag systems and technology.
- Accurately track parts, labor, mileage, and service reports.
- Maintain company tools, vehicles, and facilities in top condition.
- Represent Southern Application Management professionally with customers.

- Strong communication skills—calm under pressure and customer-focused.
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, willingness to learn service software).
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
- Own or be willing to purchase a basic mechanic’s tool set (specialty tools provided).
- Air conditioning certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school or college certificate preferred.
Work Schedule & Travel
- Off-season: 40–50 hours/week, Monday–Friday.
- Peak season: 60–70+ hours/week, including some Saturdays and holidays. Sundays are avoided whenever possible.
- Travel: travel throughout Mississippi, Arkansas, Alabama, Louisiana, and Southern Missouri; occasional overnights (1–2 nights at a time). Training may require 1–2 weeks of travel per year.
Work Environment
This role combines shop and field work. Expect to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting 50+ lbs., bending, standing, and working with tools daily.
