Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and professional Banquet Server to join our hospitality team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service during events and banquets, ensuring a seamless dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service and hospitality, with a focus on guest relations and food handling. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for hospitality are highly valued.

Responsibilities

Serve food and beverages to guests efficiently and courteously during banquets, events, and special functions
Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table arrangements and presentation standards
Assist with food preparation, plating, and presentation to ensure quality standards are met
Clear tables promptly and maintain cleanliness throughout service periods
Buss tables and support catering staff with food handling and service tasks
Engage with guests to provide friendly, attentive service that enhances their overall experience
Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators to ensure smooth operations
Address guest inquiries professionally and resolve any issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels
We are seeking reliable, professional, and team-oriented individuals with banquet, catering, or restaurant service experience. Must be able to confidently carry serving trays and provide excellent customer service. Dependable transportation and a positive attitude are required.

Requirements

Prior experience in the food industry, particularly in banquet or catering settings
Knowledge of culinary practices, food safety standards, and proper food handling techniques
Strong background in guest services, hospitality, and customer relations
Experience with food preparation, serving, bussing, and food safety protocols
Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining professionalism
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
Previous restaurant or hotel experience is preferred; familiarity with coffee service is a plus
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and special event schedules as needed
