Position Summary:
As a budtender/driver at Sespe Creek Collective, you'll play a pivotal role in providing exceptional customer service and product expertise in our top-rated cannabis destination. Sespe budtenders are on the cutting edge of the industry and are passionate about promoting sun grown flower. You will assist customers in selecting from our diverse range of cannabis products, ensuring they find the perfect fit for their needs and preferences.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- All responsibilities of the driver position
- Assessing routes for orders to plan the day for maximum efficiency
- Discreet deliveries
- Verifying and documenting customer documents and identification
- Polite and consistent communication with customers
- Verifying fees and delivery contents, accurately processing transactions via cash and electronic payments
- Keep up to date on deals, discounts, announcements, and messages
- Assisting with order fulfillment if budtenders are busy.
- Maintaining accurate delivery manifests and ensuring all entries are completed per regulatory requirements
- Updating and reconciling delivery ledgers to track inventory and payment status
- Promoting a work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, and compliant with established policies and procedures
- Maintaining vehicle logs, maintenance, and coordinating appropriate scheduling of all needed services on all Sespe vehicles
- Other duties as assigned by Management Team
- Advising customers on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, budgets, and reactions to different strains of cannabis
- Educating customers about a variety of cannabis products, including but not limited to flower, edibles, and concentrates
- Advising customers on proper safety measures to follow when consuming cannabis
- Processing payments accurately using the store's Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Troubleshooting customer issues and returns
- Correct cash handling and discount application
- Accurate and timely data entry of patient profiles
- Verifying proper paperwork, documentation and ID for customers
- Actively keep the floor stocked
- Basic transfers of products in the POS system
- Completing required Brand training and assigned instructional training
- Other duties as assigned by the management team
Competencies:
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Fun attitude and strong work ethic
- Good computer skills
- Broad product knowledge and ongoing education of current cannabis therapies
- Understanding of applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations as they pertain to the industry, personnel law, safety regulations, local municipal codes and organizational rules, regulations, directives and standard operating procedures
Requirements:
- Must be 21 years of age
- Previous Cannabis experience preferred
- Passion for cannabis and a commitment to promoting sun grown flower
- Background check required, no felony convictions
- Professional, tidy appearance and good personal hygiene
- Must be on time and ready to work when scheduled with reliable transportation
- Must be able to accommodate scheduling expectations including weekend, evening, and holiday shifts
- Bilingual preferred
- Clean driving record
Job Type: Full time 30-40 hours
Compensation: $20 hourly starting rate
