Our litigation team is focused on preparing strong cases for trial while delivering exceptional service and pursuing justice for our clients every step of the way.

Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Litigation Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting attorneys through all phases of litigation, from filing suit through trial and resolution. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple active litigation files in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Manage litigation files from the time suit is filed through trial or settlement.
Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, notices, correspondence, and other litigation documents.
Coordinate the filing of pleadings with state and federal courts.
Maintain litigation calendars, including deadlines for discovery, motions, hearings, depositions, mediation, and trial.
Schedule and coordinate depositions, mediations, expert evaluations, and court appearances.
Request, review, organize, and summarize medical records, bills, and other case-related documentation.
Prepare medical chronologies, case summaries, exhibit lists, witness files, and trial notebooks.
Assist attorneys with discovery, trial preparation, and case strategy.
Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, medical providers, experts, court personnel, and insurance representatives.
Ensure all case files remain organized, accurate, and progressing efficiently.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while handling sensitive client information.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
Personal injury litigation experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of Missouri civil litigation procedures and court rules.
Experience with discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with attorneys and support staff.
