Automotive Detail Technician

Income Opportunity: $800-$1,000 per week

Modern Motorcars Detail Center provides professional automotive detailing services for both Modern Motorcars inventory and retail customers throughout Southwest Missouri. We are committed to delivering exceptional quality, professionalism, and customer service. Our team works on a wide variety of vehicles, including premium pre-owned, luxury, and Tesla vehicles in a clean, well-equipped facility.

Position Summary

Modern Motorcars is seeking a dependable, motivated Automotive Detail Technician who takes pride in producing exceptional results. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, pays close attention to detail, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Essential Responsibilities

Wash, dry, and clean vehicle exteriors to showroom standards.
Vacuum and thoroughly clean vehicle interiors.
Shampoo carpets, floor mats, and upholstery as needed.
Clean leather, vinyl, plastic, glass, and interior trim surfaces.
Perform paint decontamination and prepare vehicles for delivery.
Apply detailing chemicals and cleaning products according to manufacturer recommendations.
Perform final quality inspections before vehicle delivery.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Safely move customer and company vehicles throughout the facility.
Follow all company safety policies and immediately report accidents or equipment concerns.

Required Qualifications

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Authorized to work in the United States.
Ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle record (MVR) check.
Ability to stand, bend, lift, and work in varying temperatures throughout the day.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous automotive detailing experience
Experience with paint correction or polishing
Experience applying ceramic coatings
Dealership or professional detailing experience

Experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train motivated individuals with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
