Full Job Description

Oceanside Healing is a healthcare clinic in Pacifica specializing in acupuncture, massage therapy, chiropractic care and sound healing. Our mission is to provide holistic and personalized healthcare to improve the overall well-being of our patients. We are seeking a dedicated and friendly part-time Front Desk Receptionist to join our team and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient experiences.

As the Front Desk Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our patients and visitors. Your primary responsibility is to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience for everyone who enters our clinic. You will be an essential part of our team, contributing to the overall success and positive reputation of our clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Interaction:

Greet and welcome patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor.
Schedule appointments, ensuring efficient patient flow and optimal use of clinic resources.
Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about our services and practitioners.

Administrative Support:

Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with confidentiality regulations.
Collect payments and process billing as needed.
Assist with filing, data entry, and other administrative tasks to support clinic operations.

Clinic Coordination:

Coordinate appointment schedules and logistics for our practitioners, classes and events.
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, waiting room, and reception area.
Ensure treatment rooms are stocked and sheets for tables are clean and available
Manage inventory of supplies and herbs and ensure their availability.

Patient Care:

Provide patients with necessary forms, instructions, and information related to their treatments.
Notify practitioners of patient arrivals and communicate any specific patient needs or requests.

Problem Solving:

Address patient concerns and inquiries in a professional and empathetic manner.
Collaborate with the clinic team to resolve scheduling and administrative issues efficiently.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in healthcare administration is a plus.
Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting is preferred.
Exceptional customer service skills with a strong focus on patient satisfaction.
Proficient in using office software, including scheduling and billing systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented and organized with a keen eye for accuracy.
Familiarity with social media tools and website modification preferred
