Full Job Description

Accounting Clerk – Accounts Receivable

Join Our Growing Harley-Davidson Dealership Group!

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our corporate accounting team. This position will be responsible for Accounts Receivable functions for seven Harley-Davidson dealerships. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-store environment.

Responsibilities

Process and post customer payments accurately and timely.
Reconcile Accounts Receivable balances across seven dealership locations.
Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding receivables.
Prepare daily deposits and cash receipts.
Research and resolve payment discrepancies.
Process manufacturer receivables, warranty receivables, and other dealership-related receivables.
Reconcile schedules and general ledger accounts.
Work closely with dealership Office Managers, Controllers, and department managers.
Assist with month-end closing and audit requests.
Maintain accurate financial records while ensuring company policies are followed.

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of Accounts Receivable experience is required.
Dealership accounting experience (automotive, powersports, RV, or marine) is strongly preferred.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
Experience with dealership management systems such as Lightspeed, IDS, or similar is a plus.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
