Position Overview
This is a working foreman position. You'll spend most of your day working alongside the crew while leading daily operations on the jobsite.
We're looking for someone who can take ownership, solve problems, keep projects moving, and help maintain the quality standards our customers expect.
Responsibilities
- Lead and work alongside a small construction crew.
- Perform carpentry, remodeling, and general construction work.
- Assign daily tasks and keep projects on schedule.
- Read plans and execute work accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite.
- Communicate material needs before they become delays.
- Train and mentor less experienced employees.
- Complete daily progress reports and jobsite photos.
- Communicate professionally with homeowners and subcontractors.
- Identify and correct quality issues before project completion.
Qualifications Required
- Minimum 5 years of residential construction experience.
- Strong carpentry skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs. and perform physical labor daily.
Preferred
- Crew leadership or supervisory experience.
- Experience with remodeling projects.
- Finish carpentry.
- Cabinet installation.
- Drywall repair and finishing.
- Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge.
- Equipment operation experience.
