POSITION OVERVIEW

Inside Sales Representative – Millwork and Door Sales

Company: Millwork Products, L.L.C.

Location: Paducah, KY

Years of Experience: Experienced 1 to 5 years of millwork or construction experience preferred.

Millwork Products, L.L.C., one of the region’s largest suppliers of doors and millwork, is currently seeking an inside sales representative for its Paducah Kentucky office. We have well established customer bases, with the potential for continued growth. This is the opportunity to join a well-established and successful company that has many years of experience in the industry. The working hours for this position are approx. 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday.

The ideal representative should have experience dealing with the millwork or construction industry. Knowledge of millwork, residential doors, stair parts ,commercial doors and mouldings is a plus.

Description of Duties:

Responsible for taking customer orders over the phone and entering those orders into the company’s computer system.
Responsible for providing a high level of customer service, and taking care of customer inquiries and issues as they might arise
Be able to work with our outside salesman, in a professional manner
Continue to develop and deliver product knowledge to the customers in our market about the company’s product lines and industry trends

Preferred Experience/Qualities:

Door and millwork product knowledge
Should process strong verbal and written communication skills, computer skills are a plus
Highly motivated, honest and outgoing attitude
Sales and customer service experience
Should be able to multi-task
Should be able to manage his or her time
Effective goal and planning skills
Creative and enthusiastic
Leadership abilities
High school diploma or GED minimum; 2 years of sales experience
Must hold a valid driver’s license
The ability to obtain and retain product knowledge.
