We are looking for enthusiastic Club Leaders for our elementary and middle school after-school programs. This is a fun, rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of local youth while enjoying a flexible schedule that can often be built around your availability.
Position Summary:
Club Leaders plan and lead engaging enrichment activities for elementary or middle school students in a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment. Leaders are encouraged to design clubs around their own interests and expertise, helping students discover new skills, build confidence, and have fun after school. Club schedules are flexible and can often be tailored to fit your availability. Club Leaders work closely with program staff to ensure student safety, foster positive relationships with participants, and create meaningful experiences that keep kids excited to learn and grow.
Qualifications/Skills:
Responsibly and safely manage a large group of children
Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with children, families, school personnel, and others
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
Experience supervising other staff preferred
Experience working with school aged children required

Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree, or with comparable experience preferred. Will consider education in progress.
- Bilingual, English and Spanish is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Must enjoy communicating with children, school administration, and parents.
- Ability to work with children in an active environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups from all social and economic segments of the community.
- Must demonstrate a strong desire to serve others and give back to our community.
- Ability to problem solve.

Certificates and Licenses:
- Must complete 10 hours of independent training as dictated by PCI.
- CPR/First Aid and AED certified is preferred.

Pay: $25.00/Hour
Schedule:
- After-school runs 3:00-6:00 Monday through Thursday, and 1:00-5:00 on Friday.
- Clubs can be tailored to the availability of the club leader.
- Monday to Friday some remote planning as well as onsite planning and development of the program.
Experience:
- Childcare: 3-5 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License Required
