This position ensures that assets are protected relative to theft, assault, fire, and other safety issues. This position creates accurate logs of gate transactions and routinely monitors sites to identify unusual or suspicious activity. Protective and enforcement functions are conducted courteously and restrainedly when dealing with emergencies, unwanted conduct, disturbances, and threats to life and property. Maintains a safe, secure environment for guests, visitors, and team members.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Greets visitors and opens the gate for daily operations.

Speaks with drivers to gather data and information and help them navigate the security process to confirm authorization and access.

Routinely interacts with both external and internal personnel.

Verify / Log all outside carriers to ensure compliance.

Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property, inspecting buildings, equipment, access points, and permitting entry.

Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities and safety concerns and informing violators of policy and procedures.

Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.

Maintain the organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.

Ensure the security, safety, and well-being of all personnel, visitors, and the premises.

Provide excellent customer service.

Adhere to all company service and operating standards.

Remain in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to employees and customers.

A high school qualification or equivalent.

Prior experience as a Security Guard (Preferred)
