Full Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas within our hotel. The ideal candidate will ensure a welcoming environment for guests by providing exceptional cleaning services, adhering to hotel standards, and maintaining a high level of professionalism. Previous experience in hospitality, janitorial, or custodial roles is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to develop their skills in the hospitality industry. This position offers an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team committed to guest satisfaction and cleanliness excellence.

Responsibilities

Clean and disinfect guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas following established protocols
Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as towels and toiletries
Perform floor care including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning as needed
Maintain cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, elevators, and other common spaces
Report maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently while respecting guest privacy and comfort
Assist with special cleaning projects such as industrial or deep-cleaning tasks when required

Requirements

Must be able to work weekends
Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services is preferred; hotel or hospitality experience is a plus
Knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays if needed
Physical ability to perform cleaning duties which may include lifting, bending, standing for extended periods, and walking throughout the property
Prior housekeeping management experience is advantageous but not mandatory

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $15.50 per hour
