LANDSCAPING PROFESSIONALS NEEDED!

FULL TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE

IMMEDIATE OPENINGS.

Markland Services, Inc is a growing company that specialize in landscaping, deck building and property drainage solutions. During the Winter season we transition to snow and ice management with some interior home improvement project work.

Who we are looking for: Team members who are incredibly reliable, show up on time and take pride in their performance!

Landscaping mowing crew team members with at least two seasons of experience in the lawn maintenance/mowing business.
Landscape construction team members with pro knowledge of patio and wall building, etc.
Landscaping bed and bush crew members with solid knowledge of plant materials and pruning technique to join our staff in completing projects and maintaining properties professionally.
Snow plow drivers with multiple years of experience plowing driveways and/or parking lots.

Compensation and benefits for full time employees:

Hourly rates based on experience and working interview.

Duties and Responsibilities

Lawn and landscape maintenance.
Landscape construction of patios/walls/walkways/decks, etc.
Pruning of shrubs and trees.
Weeding of planting bed and garden areas.
Application of fertilizers/ herbicides for lawns and weed control.
Installation of soils, mulches, stone and plantings.
Leaf and debris removal from client properties.
Lawn and planting beds installations.
Deliveries of materials and supplies for projects.
Assist in construction projects ( decks, patios, drainage, etc.)
Properly maintain equipment, tools, trailers and trucks.
Leading small teams in project completion/ property maintenance ( team leaders)
Other labor services.
Snow plowing driving/shoveling.

Employee Requirements

Reliable. (shows up on time as scheduled)
Positive mental attitude.
Works well with others.
Valid driving license.
Reliable transportation to and from work.
At least 18 years old.
Willing to work in all weather conditions.
Able to work late if needed (past 5pm)
Willing to learn and master the operation of landscape maintenance equipment, such as lawnmowers, string trimmers, leaf blowers, etc.
Background check with no violent felony convictions.
Able to stand, bend, and squat for extended periods and lift 50 pounds.

Willing to work weekend hours as needed.
Previous experience in landscaping is required.

Have you ever been a foreman or project manager for landscaping services?
Do you have reliable transportation to and from work?
Would you prefer to work with a lawn mowing team or a landscape construction team?

Do you have previous experience with snow plowing as a driver? if yes, how many years of plowing are under your belt?
Have you worked with paver patios, walkways and other hardscape projects?
Are you familiar with the operation and use of commercial mowing equipment? If so, please specify which equipment you are most familiar with. (ex. wright stander, exmark zero turn rider, scag walk behind, etc.)
Do you have pro knowledge of Ohio landscaping plant materials and how to prune?
Are you interested in leading a team and being accountable for the results?
