About the role
Threshold Brands is a platform of 10 home service brands across the US and Canada. Behind every one of those territories is an owner who bet on themselves, and most of their best stories have never been filmed. You will be on the road about once a month, flying to franchise locations to capture real footage of real crews doing real work, then turning it into content that performs. You will also teach franchise owners how to shoot for themselves, so the content keeps coming after you leave.
We are not chasing cinematic. We are chasing authentic. A sharp iPhone clip of a tech explaining what he just fixed will beat a polished brand film every time in this category, and we would rather ship twenty of those than agonize over one.

What you'll do
Travel to franchise locations roughly monthly to shoot photo and video, then edit and publish it
Train franchise owners and their teams to capture usable footage on their own phones
Cut short-form and mid-form video for social: reels, shorts, testimonials, job-site clips, thought leadership
Own the content calendar across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook while staying loose enough to jump on trends
Repurpose longer content from interviews, events, and conventions into social assets
Use AI tools to move faster on transcription, captions, cutdowns, batch versioning, and first-pass edits
Track what works, kill what doesn't, and tell us why
What you need
1-3 years creating social content. Internship, agency, freelance, or in-house all count.
Real video editing chops in Premiere, CapCut, After Effects, or similar.
Evidence you have grown or genuinely engaged an audience somewhere.
Fluency with current AI tools.
Comfort walking into a business you have never been to and getting people on camera who did not wake up wanting to be on camera.
That last one matters more than everything above it. A lot of this job is standing in a warehouse in Tampa convincing a guy who has run his business for 20 years that filming himself is worth 15 minutes.
