POSITION SUMMARY:

Performs accurately and timely all functions associated with ticketing, sort, packing and material handler. These functions are to be executed in a consistent manner by using established procedures, tools and equipment to achieve expectations and company goals. May be required to perform other processing functions or assist in other departments as needed.

Reports to DC Supervisor
Distribution Center leadership team - Department Managers, Operations Managers, Directors, VP, VP
Distribution Center Support Partners - Human Resources, Safety, Maintenance
Distribution Center Associates

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

Ticketing

The ticketing procedure includes verifying merchandise by style, color, size and scanning
Tickets merchandise in accordance with Bealls Ticketing Guidelines

Sorter

The sorter procedure is to sort the merchandise according to the style, color, and size
Reviews document and indicates the number of tubs and the number of sorts
Accurately counts the merchandise and fill out the documents indicating the quantity of pieces

Packing

The packing procedure is to pack the required units into the correct store location
Ensures carton or tote is full, applies store label, tapes carton lids, and places onto takeaway conveyor
Packs merchandise carefully into the totes, cartons or containers to prevent damage

Material Handler

The material handler position distributes merchandise, replenishes needed supplies, as well as maintains cleanliness in the assigned area
Collects empty totes and pallets and return them to designated location
Builds boxes and ensure they are available at all times for packing

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Must have adequate vision, speech, hearing, and physical ability to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodations
Must have full body rotation and mobility (i.e., bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, reaching overhead, pushing, pulling, kneeling, grasping etc.)
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. when necessary to handle/move cartons of merchandise
Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Must be able to use stairs to complete essential functions where the department is located
Must be able to work flexible hours and adapt to changing work requirements
Must have good awareness of surroundings

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Must be able to demonstrate equipment proficiency within the training period. This includes but is not limited to: record daily production by scanning or manual entry of numbers in the computer, use of pallet jack and other equipment to perform essential functions of the job
Must be able to work flexible hours and adapt to changing work environment
Time management and problem-solving skills
Accurately complete simple math tasks such as counting and adding
Must be able to handle cleaning equipment (broom, mop, duster, etc.) used for maintaining cleanliness

DEBERES Y RESPONSABILIDADES ESENCIALES:

Ticketing

El procedimiento de emisión de boletos incluye la verificación de la mercancía por estilo, color, tamaño y escaneo
Venta de entradas de acuerdo con las Directrices de venta de entradas de Bealls

Clasificador

El procedimiento del clasificador consiste en clasificar la mercancía según el estilo, el color y el tamaño

Cuenta con precisión la mercancía y rellena los documentos indicando la cantidad de piezas

Embalaje

El procedimiento de embalaje consiste en embalar las unidades necesarias en la ubicación correcta del almacén
Asegura que la caja o el contenedor estén llenos, aplica la etiqueta de la tienda, pega las tapas de los cartones y los coloca en la cinta transportadora de comida para llevar.
Empaca la mercancía con cuidado en las bolsas, cajas de cartón o contenedores para evitar daños

Manipulador de materiales

La posición del manipulador de materiales distribuye la mercancía, repone los suministros necesarios y mantiene la limpieza en el área asignada
Recoge los contenedores y palés vacíos y los devuelve a la ubicación designada
Construye cajas y se asegura de que estén disponibles en todo momento para empacar

EXIGENCIAS FÍSICAS:

Debe tener la visión, el habla, la audición y la capacidad física adecuados para realizar funciones laborales esenciales, con o sin adaptaciones razonables
Debe tener rotación y movilidad de todo el cuerpo (es decir, agacharse, agacharse, girar, alcanzar, estirarse por encima de la cabeza, empujar, tirar, arrodillarse, agarrar, etc.)
Debe ser capaz de levantar y transportar hasta 50 libras cuando sea necesario para manipular/mover cajas de mercancía
Debe ser capaz de estar de pie durante largos períodos de tiempo.
Debe ser capaz de usar las escaleras para completar las funciones esenciales donde se encuentra el departamento.
Debe ser capaz de trabajar en horarios flexibles y adaptarse a los requisitos laborales cambiantes.

CALIFICACIONES REQUERIDAS:
