Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and professional Part-Time Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our organization. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, is organized, communicates well, and can handle a variety of administrative responsibilities.

In addition to scheduled hours at the office, the successful candidate may have the opportunity to provide on-call receptionist support from home when needed. This may include answering calls, responding to messages, scheduling appointments, relaying information, and assisting with occasional administrative needs.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and assist clients, visitors, and staff in a professional and welcoming manner.
Answer and direct incoming telephone calls.
Respond to messages, emails, and general inquiries promptly.
Schedule and confirm appointments as needed.
Maintain calendars and assist with basic administrative tasks.
Receive and distribute mail, deliveries, and other correspondence.
Maintain an organized and professional reception area.
Take accurate messages and ensure information is communicated appropriately.
Provide administrative support to management and staff.
Assist with other office duties and special projects as assigned.
Provide on-call support from home during agreed-upon periods when coverage is needed.
When working remotely, maintain reliable phone and internet access and respond promptly to calls or messages.

Qualifications

Previous receptionist, front desk, customer service, or administrative experience preferred.
Must be able to pass a Level II Background check through AHCA.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Friendly, professional, and customer-service oriented.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities.
Comfortable using computers, email, calendars, and basic office software.
Reliable and dependable with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently when providing remote/on-call support.
Must have a quiet, professional environment and dependable phone/internet service for approved work-from-home on-call hours.

Schedule & Flexibility

This is a part-time position with a flexible schedule. Regular in-office hours will be scheduled in advance. There may also be opportunities to provide on-call coverage from home when additional receptionist support is needed.

On-call responsibilities and availability will be discussed and scheduled in advance whenever possible.
