*Pay based on experience and increased pay differential offered for Spanish or Creole Speakers

All of the Following Eligible to Apply- LPCs, Mental Health Counselors, Marriage & Family Therapists & Clinical Social Workers and Interns

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our mental health services team. The LPC will provide comprehensive psychotherapy and counseling services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. This role involves working in various settings such as outpatient clinics, hospitals, and telehealth platforms, ensuring clients receive evidence-based, ethical, and personalized care. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, experience with behavioral health interventions, and a commitment to improving patient well-being through innovative therapeutic approaches.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards.
Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis.
Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions addressing mental health issues such as PTSD, grief, addiction, developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, gender issues, chronic pain management, and co-occurring disorders.
Utilize crisis intervention techniques and crisis management protocols to support clients in acute distress.
Implement behavioral management strategies and social work principles to promote positive behavioral change.
Maintain accurate clinical documentation adhering to medical documentation standards and HIPAA regulations.
Engage in case management activities including patient care coordination and medical record keeping.
Participate in clinical research projects or data collection initiatives aimed at advancing mental health practices.
Deliver telehealth therapy sessions utilizing secure platforms while ensuring compliance with clinical ethical guidelines.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes across inpatient and outpatient settings.
Stay current with ICD coding updates and medical terminology relevant to mental health diagnoses.

Experience

Proven experience in psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, grief counseling, addiction counseling, art therapy, dance therapy, or psychopharmacology.
Demonstrated expertise working with children & family counseling, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders, geriatrics, or those with co-occurring disorders.
Experience providing crisis intervention and crisis management services in hospital or outpatient environments.
Familiarity with telehealth platforms and delivering remote mental health services effectively.
Knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10 coding systems for accurate diagnosis documentation.
Background in research or clinical trials related to behavioral health is advantageous.
Ability to adhere to clinical ethical guidelines while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA regulations.
