Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and customer-focused IT Support Technician to join our team. This position provides technical support to users in a professional services environment where technology reliability, security, and exceptional customer service are critical.

The successful candidate will troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and Microsoft 365 issues while working closely with an experienced senior technician who will provide mentoring and on-the-job training. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in IT and expand their technical skills in a fast-paced Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide technical support for desktop hardware, software, and Microsoft 365 applications.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues remotely and on-site while maintaining a high level of customer service.
Install, configure, and support desktop and laptop computers, printers, and other peripheral devices.
Assist with the deployment and configuration of Microsoft 365 services, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
Perform basic network troubleshooting, including connectivity, DNS, DHCP, and IP-related issues.
Support endpoint security solutions and follow established security policies and best practices.
Document support requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions within the ticketing system.
Collaborate with senior technicians to resolve complex technical issues and continually improve support processes.
Travel to client locations as needed to provide on-site technical support.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Coursework or foundational knowledge in Information Technology, Computer Support, Networking, or a related field.
Basic troubleshooting skills for Windows computers, software applications, and common networking issues.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
Basic understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and wireless networking.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
Ability to prioritize tasks and remain composed in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Willingness to learn new technologies and accept coaching and feedback.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional on-site client support.

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous Help Desk or desktop support experience.
Experience administering or supporting Microsoft 365 environments.
CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or similar technical certification.
