Job Summary
As we open our 5th restaurant in St Augustine we will be hiring for our Jacksonville and St Augustine locations. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Managers to oversee daily operations in our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food safety, and maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency in both front-of-house and back-of-house operations. The Restaurant Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing the dining experience for our guests while driving profitability and operational excellence.

Duties

Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Manage staff recruitment, training, and development to foster a motivated team environment.
Implement effective inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
Utilize POS systems (Aloha POS, Micros POS) for cash handling and transaction management.
Ensure high standards of food preparation, presentation, and service in line with restaurant policies.
Monitor financial performance including budgeting, cost control, and revenue management.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints promptly.
Supervise kitchen operations to maintain quality food production and adherence to food safety standards.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to create menus that reflect current trends while meeting customer preferences.
Conduct regular performance evaluations for staff members to encourage growth and development.

Requirements

Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food industry.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and culinary trends.
Familiarity with inventory control processes and cash handling procedures.
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
Experience in fine dining or casual dining environments is preferred; banquet experience is a plus.
Strong customer service orientation with effective communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
Experience with training & development programs for staff members is highly desirable.
