About the Role:

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of goods within the manufacturing supply chain. This position is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and finished products, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting warehouse operations. The role requires close coordination with production, logistics, and quality control teams to facilitate timely shipments and deliveries. The clerk will utilize warehouse management systems and material handling equipment to optimize workflow and maintain safety standards. Ultimately, this position ensures that all shipping and receiving activities contribute to the smooth operation of the manufacturing process and customer satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience in shipping and receiving within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Valid forklift operator certification and demonstrated safe operation of material handling equipment.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems and bar code scanning technology.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with supply chain management principles and practices.
Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards in a manufacturing setting.
Previous experience handling a variety of beverage products is a plus.
Basic computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing lists to ensure accuracy and quality.
Prepare and process outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely to move goods within the warehouse and production areas.
Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems and bar code scanning technology.
Coordinate with supply chain and production teams to schedule shipments and resolve any discrepancies or delays.
Ensure the warehouse is organized, clean, and compliant with safety regulations at all times.
Assist in cycle counts and physical inventory audits to support inventory accuracy.
Handle a wide range of hot and cold beverages as part of product handling when applicable.
