PetSmart Veterinary Services of Tujunga is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our growing, locally owned franchised hospital.
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled, compassionate veterinary technician who wants to work side-by-side with the practice owner, helping shape the next stage of growth for a community-focused hospital serving pets and families in Tujunga and the surrounding area.
You will be part of a close-knit, community-focused hospital where high-quality medicine, teamwork, and client relationships matter. Our hospital is doctor-led, independently owned, and built around thoughtful patient care, strong communication, and a supportive team culture.
About Our Hospital
PetSmart Veterinary Services of Tujunga provides comprehensive veterinary care for small animals and PetSmart companion animals and exotics as needed.
Our hospital is AAHA-accredited, reflecting our commitment to high standards in patient care, client service, medical protocols, safety, and hospital operations.
We are proud to be part of the greater Tujunga community. Our team values the relationships we build with our clients and their pets, and we strive to create an environment where pet parents feel heard, supported, and confident in the care their pets receive.
Our clients regularly recognize us for our kind, patient, and communicative approach to care. Our team is known for taking time with pets and pet parents, explaining treatment recommendations clearly, and creating a supportive experience from the front desk through the exam room.
About the Opportunity
The Registered Veterinary Technician will play a key role in supporting doctor efficiency, patient care, client education, anesthesia, dentistry, diagnostics, and overall hospital flow.
This role is ideal for an experienced RVT who enjoys being fully utilized, values high medical standards, and is excited by the opportunity to help mentor, train, and support other members of the medical team. We are looking for someone who can lead by example,
elevate patient care, and help newer technicians and assistants continue building their confidence and skills.
You will have the opportunity to work closely with the practice owner and doctors in a collaborative environment where patient care is led by veterinary professionals, not corporate clinical mandates or one-size-fits-all protocols.
