Join our dynamic legal team as a Legal Assistant, where you will play a vital role in supporting our attorneys with a variety of legal tasks. This is an exciting opportunity to engage in diverse areas of law, including estate planning, family law, and environmental law. Your contributions will be instrumental in ensuring efficient case management and delivering exceptional client service. What you’ll do

Assist attorneys with legal research and document preparation across various practice areas, including immigration law and securities law.
Manage case files using document management systems such as iManage and PCLaw to ensure all records are organized and accessible.
Conduct interviews with clients to gather necessary information for case development and documentation.
Prepare and review legal documents, contracts, and pleadings with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy through proofreading and transcription.
Support project management efforts by tracking deadlines and coordinating schedules for hearings, meetings, and filings.
Engage in litigation support activities, including filing documents with courts and managing discovery processes.
Maintain effective communication with clients, attorneys, and external parties while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.

Basic qualifications

Proven experience in a law office setting or as a paralegal is essential.

Preferred qualifications

Familiarity with various areas of law such as landlord-tenant law, workers' compensation law, patent law, tribal law & regulations, and personal injury law is highly desirable.
Proficiency in legal research tools like LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
Excellent writing skills for drafting correspondence, memos, and other legal documents.
