Full Job Description

Position Summary

Provide first-line technical support and day-to-day systems administration for employees, while supporting IT infrastructure, projects, vendors, and cross-functional collaboration with the IT team in Shanghai.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Provide first-line technical support to employees and troubleshoot hardware, software, network connectivity, servers, and backup systems; monitor system performance and respond promptly to incidents.

· Set up, configure, and maintain workstations, mobile devices, peripherals, and related hardware; support project-based hardware installations as needed.

· Manage user accounts, permissions, and access across systems, including Microsoft 365 cloud services.

· Document procedures, create user guides, and maintain an IT knowledge base.

· Assist with IT projects, including software rollouts, migrations, system integrations, and other technology deployments.

· Coordinate with vendors for hardware, software, and IT services.

· Coordinate with the IT team in Shanghai on IT projects and troubleshooting, supporting effective cross-cultural collaboration.

· Provide occasional off-hours support as business or project needs require.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.

· Entry-level experience in IT support or systems administration.

· Experience with Windows; macOS experience is a plus.

· Experience with DNS, DHCP, and network troubleshooting.

· Basic scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python; C# or JavaScript is a plus.

· Knowledge of and ability to use AI tools safely and responsibly.

· Ability to work independently, take initiative, and proactively address issues.

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across cultures and with international teams.

· Multilingual capability preferred; ability to communicate with Chinese-speaking colleagues with the aid of translation or other tools.

Work Authorization: This position is not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization or visa sponsorship.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
