Position Qualification

Position Summary

The Department of Radiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) is seeking a fellowship-trained breast imaging radiologist for a remote position within our nationally recognized academic health system.

Position Highlights

100% subspecialized breast imaging practice
Remote, flexible schedule models also available
Interpretation of screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, and breast MRI within a dedicated breast imaging division
Established remote division with over 20 remote radiologists to supplement our 30+ on-site staff radiologists
Opportunity to practice in collaboration with the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center, Nebraska’s only NCI-designated cancer center
Participation in a comprehensive breast imaging program accredited as a Comprehensive Breast Imaging Center by the American College of Radiology and accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC)
Opportunities for resident and fellow education, mentorship, and academic engagement based on individual interests
Opportunities for participation in multidisciplinary breast conferences and breast cancer care initiatives

Qualifications

M.D. or D.O. degree
Board certified or board eligible by the American Board of Radiology
Completion of a breast imaging fellowship, or equivalent breast imaging training and expertise
Eligibility for medical licensure in Nebraska
Strong commitment to clinical excellence, patient-centered care, and collaborative practice
