Full Job Description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, long-term and skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This role is essential in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety. If you have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence in food preparation, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace.
Adhere to food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques.
Operate kitchen equipment safely, including knives and other cooking tools.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
Support the team in daily operations and contribute to a positive team environment.

Requirements

Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant or food service setting preferred but negotiable.
Knowledge of kitchens, efficiency, and team mentality is a plus.
Strong knife skills and familiarity with various cooking techniques.
Understanding of food safety standards and best practices in food handling.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
