Full Job Description

We are looking for experienced Sous Chefs to assist our Executive Chef, manage daily kitchen operations, oversee staff, manage inventory, train junior cooks, ensure food quality, maintain sanitation, and assist with menu development. You will be expected to handle both culinary and managerial tasks, ensuring smooth workflow and high standards in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to;

Leadership & Staff Management: Supervise kitchen staff, delegate tasks, provide training and mentorship, create schedules, and resolve conflicts.
Food Preparation & Quality Control: Oversee cooking, ensure dishes meet taste/presentation standards, assist with menu creation, and expedite orders.
Inventory Management and Food Costs: Manage inventory, order supplies, track food costs, maintain equipment, and ensure compliance with health/safety regulations.
Menu Development: Collaborate on new dishes, features, and menu descriptions with special attention to allergies, keeping up with culinary trends.
Executive Chef Support: Act as the Head Chef's right-hand, stepping in to run the kitchen during their absence, managing workflow, and communicating with front-of-house.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

Strong culinary skills.
Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in inventory management and cost control. Experience with Margins Edge is a plus.
Expertise in food safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
