Full Job Description

Position Summary: The Phlebotomist must be competent in blood collection ,patient identification, labeling and documentation of sample collection specimen processing and various clerical tasks; to ensure quality patient care on adult, pediatric and neonatal populations, deliver care to patients utilizing established policies, procedures and protocols; effectively interact with patients, families, visitors and other staff members while maintaining standards of laboratory professionals; models appropriate behavior as exemplified in AMMC’s Mission/Vision statement and reflect a commitment to continuous quality improvement.

Required Education/Training/Experience: Successfully completed a Phlebotomy Program w/certificate or minimum of 6 months phlebotomy experience preferred; National certification preferred.
