Full Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Scheduler IV to support capital improvement and construction projects at Los Angeles Southwest College. The successful candidate will be responsible for project scheduling, schedule analysis, contractor schedule reviews, change order evaluations, and cost and schedule reporting for large-scale construction programs.

Key Responsibilities for Scheduler IV

Develop and maintain project schedules based on project execution plans.
Review contractor schedules for quality, accuracy, and contract compliance.
Analyze change orders and amendments for schedule and budget impacts.
Perform time impact analyses and evaluate potential delay claims.
Conduct Critical Path Method (CPM) and Earned Value analyses.
Review contractor progress and recovery schedules and provide recommendations.
Prepare schedule reports, findings, and presentations for management.
Conduct project site visits and monitor construction progress.
Support cost analysis, budget tracking, and cash flow forecasting.
Assist with change order negotiations and schedule-related issue resolution.
Ensure compliance with project contracts and policies.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field (additional qualifying experience may substitute for education).
Minimum 10 years of project or program scheduling experience on large construction programs.
Advanced proficiency with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong knowledge of construction scheduling, cost engineering, and project controls.
Experience with time impact analysis, construction claims, and change orders.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work across multiple project sites and in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

Experience supporting public-sector, higher education, or large capital construction programs.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience preparing cost-loaded schedules and cash flow projections.

Pay: $155,000.00 - $178,000.00 per hour
