Full Job Description

We are looking for an Experienced Bilingual Personal Injury Case Manager, Full-Time to enhance the quality of patient management, maximize satisfaction and promote cost effectiveness at a growing and well known Personal Injury Attorney's Office. As a Case Manager, requiring you to be able to come into the Main Office in El Segundo, CA at least 4 times a week.

The successful candidate will be accountable for the full patient care cycle. Case manager duties include assessing, planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating actions required to meet the client’s health and human services needed. A certified case manager is a plus.

REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY:

MUST be Bilingual (English-Spanish)
MUST have 2+ years Experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager
MUST be detailed and organized
Must have negociating experience

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The ideal candidate has pre-litigation personal injury experience. Duties include frequent client contact, medical records review and analysis, assisting clients with medical providers, preparing files to submit to our demand department, and providing superior client service.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Ideally over 2+ years of personal injury case management experience
Detail-oriented professional with a positive outlook
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Experience handling large volume of personal injury pre-lit cases
Ability to handle surgical cases, high dollar value cases, surgical cases and wrongful death cases
Ability to review and understand medical records is record
Great customer service skills, friendly on the phone and in person
Have at least 2 years experience
Ability to manage high volume and attentive to files
Litify experience is a huge plus
Type at least 60 wpm
Coordinate and provide care that is safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and client-centered
Handle case assignments, draft service plans, review case progress and determine case closure
Facilitate multiple care aspects (case coordination, information sharing, etc)
Help patients make informed decisions by acting as their advocate regarding their clinical status and treatment options
Develop effective working relations and cooperate with medical team throughout the entire case management process
Take the extra mile and interact with patients to keep track of their progress and to ensure satisfaction
Record cases information, complete accurately all necessary forms and produce statistical reports
Adhere to professional standards as outlined by protocols, rules and regulations
Proven working experience in case management
Excellent knowledge of case management principles, healthcare management and reimbursement
Previous experience with psychological aspects of care
Effective communication skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Familiarity with professional and technical emerging knowledge
Problem solving skills and ability to multi-task
Compassionate with teamwork skills
