About Us

Gikas Roofing is one of the fastest-growing roofing companies in Rockland and Westchester, and our online presence needs to look like it. Our team is tight-knit. We back each other up and we actually care about the work we put out, on rooftops and online.

This is a marketing and content role first. If you're the kind of person who can spot a great shot on a job site, turn it into a Reel that stops the scroll, and build a brand people trust before we ever pick up the phone, we want to talk to you.

What You'll Do

Content & Growth:

Visit active and completed job sites to film and photograph our work
Shoot and edit short-form video for Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts
Plan and coordinate videos for our marketing team
Own the content calendar — plan, shoot, edit, and post consistently without being told what to do next
Write captions and manage posting across all platforms
Track what's working and adjust — you own the numbers, not just the camera

Light Field & Admin Support:

Drop off permit packages at local building departments in Rockland and Westchester County (fully prepared by our office — you just deliver them)
Occasional phone coverage and miscellaneous administrative support
Company vehicle provided for travel between job sites

What Success Looks Like

We're not hiring you to "post sometimes." In your first 90 days, we expect to see:

A consistent posting cadence across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts (target: agreed on together in your first week)
Measurable growth in followers and engagement month over month
Content that generates real inbound leads — we'll track what's tied back to your work
A steady stream of new 5-star Google reviews

What We're Looking For

Experience creating and editing short-form video (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, DaVinci, or similar)
Active and genuinely knowledgeable on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube — not just as a user, as a strategist
Comfortable working outdoors on job sites in all weather — this is a field-based role
A self-starter who can run a content calendar without being micromanaged
Professional and personable — you represent our brand on every job site you visit

Room to Grow

We're scaling quickly and our marketing function is going to scale with us. A rockstar in this seat has a real path toward owning our full marketing function as we grow — this isn't a role with a ceiling.
