As a Travel Carpenter, you will:
Assemble, install, and anchor retail store fixtures, shelving, and displays.
Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and plan-o-grams to execute layout designs.
Utilize power tools safely and effectively, including drills, saws, and measuring instruments.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to quality standards.
Work in various retail environments across the U.S., ensuring store remodels and new build-outs meet client expectations.
This role is ideal for individuals who:
Enjoy hands-on work and seeing tangible results.
Have a strong work ethic and can stay motivated while traveling.
Can adapt to new environments and follow structured workflows.
Excel in both independent tasks and team-based projects.
Can meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 50 lbs overhead, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions.
Must be willing to travel extensively (hotel and per diem provided when working 50+ miles from home).
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
Ability to use and safely handle essential carpentry tools.
Own OSHA-certified steel-toe boots.
Experience in carpentry, millwork, or general construction (preferred but not required).
