Brokerage & Commercial Lines Producer
About Us
We are one of the fastest-growing insurance agencies in the country—ranked #1 in the Southeast and #2 nationwide. Alongside our captive book, we operate a growing brokerage division with access to a deep bench of carrier partners including National General, Tapco, Burns & Wilcox, Chubb, Hagerty, and others—giving our producers the ability to write risks most agents have to turn away.
We provide everything you need to succeed: high-quality leads, full training, hands-on coaching, and the tools to build a high-income career. If you're competitive, driven, and ready to put in the work—this is a high-reward opportunity.
What You'll Do
- Write high-volume personal auto through National General—non-standard and hard-to-place risks including prior lapses, SR-22 filings, violations, tickets, and drivers our standard markets decline. This is a core, daily part of the role and a primary driver of your production
- Write new commercial business—BOPs, general liability, commercial property, commercial auto, workers' compensation, and contractor/artisan risks
- Place brokerage business our standard markets can't take: E&S and non-standard risks, high-value and coastal homes, classic and collector autos, dwelling fire and rental property, seasonal and vacant risks
- Round out NatGen auto accounts with renters, dwelling fire, and umbrella where the exposure fits
- Drive new business through high-volume outbound calling, texting, referrals, centers of influence, and X-date follow-up
- Package and submit quality submissions—ACORD applications, loss runs, supplemental questionnaires, and risk narratives that get underwriter attention
- Quote and bind through broker portals and wholesale partners, and negotiate terms and pricing with underwriters
- Build strong client relationships and recommend tailored coverage solutions
- Manage your pipeline using CRM tools (track leads, submissions, follow-ups, and proposals)
- Own the renewal cycle—remarket accounts, review exposures, and round out books of business
- Deliver excellent customer service and ongoing client support
- Stay informed on market conditions, appetite changes, and carrier trends to continuously improve performance
What We're Looking For
- Commercial lines or brokerage sales experience is required—this is not an entry-level role
- Comfortable running a high-volume non-standard auto desk alongside commercial production—this role blends both, and both carry expectations
- Working knowledge of commercial coverages and the ability to explain them clearly to a business owner
- Hands-on experience with wholesale/E&S placement, ACORD forms, and submission packaging
- National General experience is a strong plus
- Comfortable with heavy outbound calling and prospecting
- Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills
- Self-motivated with a competitive, results-driven mindset
- Humility and coachability
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with CRM systems is a plus
- Bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply
Licensing Requirements
- Must have or be willing to obtain a Georgia Property & Casualty (P&C) License prior to start
- Willingness to obtain a Surplus Lines license and additional state licenses as needed
- Life & Health License is a plus, but not required
What We Offer
- Competitive base plus commission and bonuses—$80,000 to $130,000+ depending on production
- Access to a broad brokerage market—National General, Tapco, Burns & Wilcox, Chubb, Hagerty, and more
- Leads provided: data leads, live transfers, direct mailers, and internal referrals from our personal lines book
- Group health insurance and additional benefits
- Ongoing coaching, training, and career development
- PTO plan
