Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Line Cook/Sous Chef to join our vibrant culinary team. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily kitchen operations, ensure the highest standards of food quality and safety, and lead our talented kitchen staff with enthusiasm and expertise. Your passion for culinary excellence and leadership skills will drive the creation of exceptional dishes that delight our guests. Responsibilities

Lead food preparation and cooking activities, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards and presentation expectations.
Supervise kitchen staff during shifts, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a cohesive team environment.
Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste through effective food management practices.
Implement food safety sanitizing procedures consistently to maintain a clean, safe, and compliant kitchen environment.
Assist in menu planning and recipe development to keep offerings fresh, innovative, and aligned with guest preferences.
Oversee catering events and banquet services, ensuring timely execution and exceptional guest experiences.
Coordinate shift management duties such as scheduling, delegating tasks, and maintaining smooth kitchen operations throughout service hours.

Experience

Proven culinary experience in high-end hospitality settings.
Demonstrated supervising experience with the ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Extensive background in food production, food handling, and food service management across various settings including restaurants, catering, or banquet services.
Familiarity with inventory management systems, cost control measures, and kitchen management practices.
Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitizing procedures, and dietary department standards.
Experience in managing multiple responsibilities such as shift management, menu planning, and restaurant operations is highly desirable.
Strong leadership qualities with excellent communication skills to motivate team members and uphold high standards of hospitality.
