Smart Motion Logistics is an Amazon Delivery Service Partner seeking a motivated and experienced Station Workforce Operations Manager to lead the launch and daily operations of our operaiton location at Amazon WPT2 delivery station in Paris, Texas.
This is a full-time, on-site leadership position responsible for managing the day-to-day execution of our delivery operation, including driver management, dispatch support, fleet coordination, hiring, training, safety performance, and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who can take ownership of station performance, solve problems quickly, develop employees, and ensure our operation runs safely and efficiently every day.
This role will be responsible for building the foundation of our Paris station and ensuring the location successfully scales as route volume increases.

Position Overview
The Station Operations Workforce Manager (OWM) is directly responsible for the daily operations of the Smart Motion Logistics WPT2 delivery station. This individual ensures operational processes are executed effectively, employees are properly trained and supported, fleet needs are managed, and delivery expectations are consistently met.
The Operations Manager is responsible for maintaining a safe, productive, and efficient workplace while driving improvements in quality, cost control, employee performance, and customer satisfaction.
Key ResponsibilitiesDaily Station Operations
- Manage daily delivery operations and ensure successful route execution
- Lead daily station startup and operational workflows
- Assist dispatchers with route planning, execution, and problem resolution
- Verify daily route assignments completed by dispatchers are accurate and efficient
- Monitor route progress throughout the delivery day and provide operational support
- Ensure daily employee clock-in and clock-out processes are completed accurately
- Maintain accountability for station performance and operational goals
Scheduling, Rostering & Employee Management
- Manage daily employee scheduling and staffing needs
- Complete daily rostering to ensure proper route coverage
- Manage scheduling processes through OKAMI and related operational systems
- Coordinate ride-along scheduling for new and developing drivers
- Monitor attendance, reliability, and workforce performance
- Ensure proper staffing levels based on operational needs
- Assist with employee coaching, discipline, and performance management
Hiring, Training & Onboarding
- Lead hiring events and recruitment efforts for station staffing needs
- Conduct employee orientations for new hires
- Manage training and onboarding processes for new employees
- Ensure all new hires complete required documentation prior to their first day of work
- Maintain I-9 compliance by ensuring verification is completed on or before an employee’s first day
- Develop employees through coaching, feedback, and ongoing training support
- Create a strong safety-focused and performance-driven team culture
Fleet Management
- Manage daily fleet readiness and vehicle availability
- Complete fleet reporting and communicate repair needs
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance, repairs, and service needs
- Ensure company and rental vehicles meet operational and safety requirements
- Track fleet issues and work with internal and external partners to resolve concerns
Safety, Quality & Performance Management
- Monitor Netradyne camera performance and safety events
- Review driver safety performance and identify coaching opportunities
- Monitor scorecards and key operational metrics
- Identify weak-performing drivers and implement coaching plans
- Conduct regular performance reviews and follow-up coaching
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
Uniform & Policy Compliance
- Ensure all employees follow Smart Motion Logistics uniform standards
- Enforce company policies and operational expectations
- Maintain a professional and customer-focused workforce
- Assist with ensuring compliance with company procedures and client requirements
Process Improvement & Business Operations
- Develop, implement, and improve station processes and procedures
- Identify operational bottlenecks and create solutions
- Assist leadership with budgeting, planning, and cost-control initiatives
- Analyze operational data and identify opportunities for improvement
- Help forecast staffing, fleet, and operational needs as the station grows
- Assist in maintaining compliance with company policies, agreements, and regulations

Previous experience managing a delivery team or transportation operation is strongly preferred.
