About Us
Roberts Family Resolution Services is a child-focused agency providing court-ordered supervised visitation services in active family law cases. Our role is to help children feel safe, supported, and connected during some of the most difficult times in their lives. The families we work with are often navigating domestic violence, protection orders, sexual abuse, child abuse, addiction, severe mental illness, reunification, and high-conflict litigation. Many of the children we serve have autism, developmental disabilities, trauma histories, emotional dysregulation, and significant behavioral challenges.
This is one of the most demanding child-focused positions in family law, but it is also one of the most meaningful. Every visit has the potential to shape a child's sense of safety, trust, and connection. Many children come to view their Supervisor as one of the most consistent and supportive adults in their lives during an incredibly difficult chapter. This is not a sit-and-watch position. Supervisors actively participate in visits through play, observation, interviewing, behavior management, relationship-building, coaching, and continuous supervision. The strongest Supervisors genuinely enjoy working with children, remain physically and emotionally engaged throughout every visit, and balance warmth with professionalism, objectivity, accountability, and sound judgment. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with court orders, addressing safety concerns, preparing detailed court reports, collaborating with attorneys, therapists, and other professionals, and providing testimony when requested.
Why Join Roberts Family Resolution Services?
We believe our Supervisors deserve the same level of support that we expect them to provide to children and families. We offer paid training, ongoing mentorship, clear expectations, opportunities for professional growth, annual raises, and increased compensation as responsibilities grow. Most importantly, you will have the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with children while making a lasting difference during one of the most important periods of their lives.
Schedule Requirements
Because children often develop strong relationships with their Supervisor and court cases frequently continue for many months or years, consistency is essential. Changes in Supervisors can significantly impact children, families, and ongoing court proceedings. For that reason, this contract position requires a minimum 2-year commitment.
Required availability:
- Saturdays: 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM
- Sundays: 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM
- At least 2 weekday evenings from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Reality of This Role
This is one of the most demanding child-focused positions in family law. Supervisors regularly travel throughout the Denver metro area, adapt to changing schedules, remain physically active for extended periods, and respond to time-sensitive situations. Visits often involve emotional dysregulation, behavioral challenges, refusal behaviors, safety concerns, and high-conflict family dynamics. Parents and attorneys may question observations, dispute documentation, challenge professional judgment, or closely scrutinize your work. The Supervisors who are most successful remain calm, objective, emotionally regulated, and child-focused regardless of the circumstances. Reliability, responsiveness, accountability, adaptability, sound judgment, and professionalism are essential to success in this role.
