Full Job Description

Job Overview
Travel Cath Lab Tech for a travel contract in WV! Work with top cardiac teams, sharpen your skills, and enjoy new experiences every step of the way. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in interventional cardiology and radiology, with expertise in performing cardiac catheterizations and diagnostic evaluations. This role is crucial for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, particularly within a Level I or Level II trauma center.

Contract details:

Schedule: 8 hr days, M-F plus night and weekend call - 13 weeks

Pay: $3000-$3300 Gross Weekly

Start date: ASAP

Responsibilities

Perform cardiac catheterization procedures and assist physicians during interventional radiology procedures.
Monitor patients' vital signs and provide telemetry support throughout the procedure.
Maintain a sterile environment by adhering to aseptic techniques and protocols.
Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab.
Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies.
Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff. Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures
Participate in emergency medicine protocols as required, responding effectively to any complications that may arise during procedures.

Qualifications

ARRT-R, RCIS, CCI
WV license - may accept pending
licensed as required by State
BLS
ACLS
