Full Job Description

Legacy Staffing has partnered with a leading manufacturing company in Newbury, OH to hire a Mold / Press Operator (Injection Molding). We are hiring for all shifts with a pay range of $17.00–$18.00/hour based on shift (1st shift: $17/hr | 2nd & 3rd shift: $18/hr). This role focuses on operating injection molding equipment, producing high-quality parts, and supporting efficient, safe manufacturing processes in a clean, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate injection molding presses and secondary equipment to produce parts to quality standards
Inspect, trim, coat, bond, and package molded parts according to procedures
Follow job instructions and specifications to ensure product quality
Detect and report defective materials and accurately track scrap
Operate secondary equipment such as sonic welders and adhesive bonding tools
Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 6S standards
Set up new jobs and operate multiple machines as needed
Troubleshoot quality issues and coordinate with appropriate personnel
Demonstrate safe use of hand tools and equipment

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED required
Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with hand tools and small parts
Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
Reliable attendance and a positive, flexible attitude
Ability to meet physical requirements including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 30 lbs frequently, and working in a manufacturing environment
